Jacek Jonak advised Polish and international businesses and financial institutions, participating in the biggest and the most difficult transactions, including public offerings of PKN Orlen, PKO BP and TVN and many other equity and bond offerings. He advised Polish Ministry of Finance in connection with the majority of Eurobond issues to-date as well as on issuing structured notes and was involved in a number of municipal finance projects, including establishing domestic medium term notes program and first issue thereunder. He participated in the debt restructuring of Netia SA, in establishing and subsequently selling the Norwich Union pension fund and in many other transactions in the merger and acquisition area.

He advised the biggest domestic and global banks on regulatory matters, especially in relation to the bankruptcy law and the so-called netting, as well as on creating standard documentation for derivative and structured debt instruments. He conducted licensing cases and appeared in proceedings before financial supervisory authorities. He is a member of the Warsaw Stock Exchange’s Committee for the Development of the Bond Market and was recommended in the rankings published by Rzeczpospolita, Forbes, Legal 500 and Chambers Global. He is an arbitrator in the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw, he has settled disputes in arbitration at the Polish Bank Association, he is also a member of the panel of international financial experts P.R.I.M.E. Finance based in the City of Hague..

He graduated from the French Ecole nationale d’administration (promotion Condorcet). In 1997-2007 (until the establishment of a permanent embassy) he was a honorary consul of the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg in Poland. He is a member of supervisory boards, as well as of audit and risk committees in numerous companies supervised by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority.

Szymon Banach is the graduate of the University of Warsaw. He has worked for many Polish and foreign companies and institutions, specializing in companies law, as well as in law of commercial contracts, competition and payment services. He participated in many transactions in the area of mergers and acquisitions, including the sale of shares, enterprises or organized parts of an enterprise. He also advised in a number of corporate disputes.
